Automated Link Exchange Software.
Perhaps one of the most important tools in your arsenal for Search Engine Optimization should be automated link exchange software.
Believe me when I tell you that I have tried just about all of them, some good and some not so good, and have finally narrowed it down to the one that I use for all of my sites.
First off, and most importantly, stay away from
link farms, you will get penalized for using such link building strategies.
When I say automated software I mean that which will check your reciprocal links automatically for you at times that you specify or manually if you so choose. Also the software should have the ability for link partners to automatically add their own listing.
You will certainlty find out that when you start your website and it is in the
Google Sandbox with a Page Rank of 0, you will have trouble getting any kind of quality links just because of your Page Rank. So you will have to manually submit your site to human edited directories like
DMOZ. Do a search On Google for "Search engine friendly directories", you will find tons of them.
Then in a short time when Google updates your website and you start to show a good Page Rank, you will find that getting reciprocal link partners is much easier and you can get flooded with link requests. And look out if you get a PR7 or PR8 or higher because everyone on the planet will want to exchange links with you. This is when the automated "add a listing" feature is really nice because, you will not have the time to manually do it all yourself unless you plan on spending 16 hours a day doing link exchanges. This is just one of the many features of
InfoWizards Pro.
All you have to do is put a link on your page that points to the "add url" or whatever you choose to call it and everyone is taken to the page to submit their site into your link exchange directory. Now you have the time for some other important tasks for your website such as "Fresh Relevant Content" which I will discuss in my next article.
The Breakdown: Do Not:
1) Submit your site to more than 50 directories in one day
2) Submit your site to a directory more than once
3) Submit your site to directories that have not yet been indexed by the major search engines. (waste of time)
4) Use automated software for directory submissions (you will get banned)
DO:
1) Submit your site to directories that have pagerank and are indexed by the major search engines. Over time (1 – 3 weeks) you will get indexed for all of your keywords and as you continue building links to your site, you will continue to have each of your pages climb up in the SERPS.
There are so many great features included with
InfoWizards Pro that I would have to devote an entire page or two to discuss them. If you are looking for automated link exchange software that the search engines love then check them out for your self. You can find out more about them here at
