A Web design template is useless without content, so first and foremost you should add your own text. Changing the text in a HTML file using a HTML editor is easy. When you open the HTML file from your web design template for the first time you will see that all of the text blocks are filled with dummy text. All you have to do is to substitute this text with your own text.

All professional HTML editors have a design view, so you don't have to worry about all the HTML tags, you can edit your text and see how the page will look after publishing at the same time. To turn this view on you should select
View/Design from the top menu in Macromedia Dreamweaver or click the
Normal tab at the bottom if you are using Microsoft FrontPage. You can type your text directly into the HTML editor or copy and paste it from your documents or a previous web site of yours.
